Abstract:
The Committee on Radioactive Waste Management (CoRWM) discussed the consultation on the revised draft National Policy Statements (NPSs) for energy infrastructure at its plenary meeting on 24 November 2010. It agreed not to respond directly to this second NPS consultation but to write to the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) to express the Committee’s views on the Government response to the first NPS consultation.

Abstract:
This is the response from the Committee on Radioactive Waste Management (CoRWM) to the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA) consultation on its Draft Strategy (NDA, 2010a) and the accompanying Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) Environmental and Sustainability Report (NDA, 2010b).
